I am just, uh... ummm... well... is "perplexed" a good word as a colloquial for all the previous half-minded syllables?

Beautiful!!! There is something so serene about monotone fractals.

I am happy that our paths in Fractal Explorer have finally crossed... FE is chiefly what I use, had too many headaches with other programs such as Mandelbulb way would I knock M3D, but my computers are so slow and life is just too busy, at least for me.... Can't seem to do anything interesting with Bryce either. Maybe I had better steer toward Blender after all...only not on this old XP, as Blender likes to crash right in the middle of things. I have my laptop but it is not connected with the internet, so that makes following tuts awkward. And yet the call of Blender still entices me...BChiIdol

I still continue to be awe-struck by the beauty of your Blenderenderings... The ones with objects like the mirror-and-bathroom one look like a magazine photo!!

Thank you SO much!!
FE rocks, and so does Blender for sure. Blender doesn't crash very often at all, not sure what version you used last.
I really truly appreciate your compliments, and if I can do anything to help you get into Blender just let me know! :glomp:

Whatever praise you receive for your Blender work is richly deserved!Emoticon: Hug

I am really getting into the idea of plunging into Blender.:diveglomp:  I don't know a lot about 3D but whatever works best on my comp's is what I need to go with. FE does rock my socks and it seems to have the same effect on many others - I used to think no one used FE anymore, only me, but it was nice to discover I was not alone. It is such an easy program to learn, you just have to keep at it, that's the trick to not "getting rusty".

I don't even remember what version of Blender I used last, but I do have one of the most recent, it would be 2.49 I think? Well, I don't have it on my XP but I did install it on my laptop. Might work best there, being as it's a quad core. Trouble is, it isn't connected with the internet (i still need a cable!) and so, following tuts will get a bit awkward...
