The only problem with these damn things is that you have to change the materials you originally had in whatever program you originally used. Also, a lot of them use "meshlights", which are regular objects (plane usually) with an emitting light material attached to it. Then you have to move them around to get a good lighting, but the result is quite realistic as you can see. :D

Nice one! Seems you have been playing around with quite some render engines lately ;)

I'm experimenting with Lux at the moment, it's a great one, though still trying to optimize the settings speed vs quality. I'm even thinking of getting a second cheap rig just for rendering.

Thank you! Yes, I've been playing a bit with Yafaray, Kerkythea, and Cycles. Luxrender is just ridiculous unless you have an extremely powerful PC (which I do not)

I've tried Cycles, but somehow I get weird builds and everything is of ratio and hurts my eyes lol.
Luxrender is indeed good, but although I have a pretty good PC, times are still long, the last image I did took 3 hours, around 300samples and that's short and seems if you want to decent image clear of noise, 1000 samples seems to be a minimum :/.

The way I see it, if people are going for the final render in Lux, leave it rendering over night. And there's another great thing, you can stop the render and resume later :D
