So I favorited this a while ago, but I just want to say that I loved this so much that you know how you can change the Google backgrounds? Well I changed mine to this~
looks too watery
Beautiful... i could do with some of this..2oC here, mist, rain and hard frozen ground
I quite like the way the water turned out! Excellent!
*wants to jump in*
Thanks Renee! Tutorials really help, and this one was pretty advanced, so I learned a ton, especially about the node editor
That's cool! I wish I had the concentration for learning, but I've got fibro fog, it's real! It comes from having fibromyalgia, not sleeping and all that. I learn now by trial and error!
If I tried this without the tutorial, it would have been mostly error
It's so easy in Bryce though!
Easy, but they usually don't turn out very well in my opinion, especially the skies. If you look again at this picture, there's volumetric lights, ghost/lens flare, and a vignette around the outside of the picture...all done from within Blender. The sky is mapped onto a cylinder and set to emit light, so I have total control over what part of the sky I want to look at. Also, this rendered in less than 5 minutes with full global illumination in Cycles I still do, and always will, love Bryce though
totally wish to be there right now! simply beautiful... and realistic
Very beautiful work V...
wow!!looks like a photo!!excellent work,Vicky dear!
Wow Vicky...this sure is motivation for me.
Thanks Joe! I definitely wouldn't recommend this one as a beginner, it was pretty rough
